Performing external biliary drainage (EBD)
EBD can be performed through endoscopic retrograde biliary drainage (ERBD) or endoscopic nasobiliary drainage (ENBD). ENBD decompresses biliary obstruction by draining bile outside the body, avoiding regurgitation of the intestinal contents.
