​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The study results suggest that transarterial embolization is a safe and feasible treatment option for a heterogeneous group of patients with giant hepatic hemangiomas. With the development of interventional radiology, transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) has become a possible treatment for hepatic hemangiomas, especially for patients who are unsuitable for surgical resection.
